How to request deletion of your data

If you want to delete your account and all associated data from our services, you can submit a data deletion request by emailing [email protected]. We will process your request in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

1. Your Right to Data Deletion

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data. Hey Value Tech SRL is committed to honoring your data deletion requests in a timely manner.

2. How to Request Data Deletion

To request deletion of your data, please send an email to:

  • • A description of the data you would like deleted, or confirm that you want all data removed

3. What Data Will Be Deleted

Upon receiving and verifying your data deletion request, we will delete the following data associated with your account:

  • Account information — your name, email address, profile details, and authentication credentials
  • Content and files — all files, documents, and other content stored in HeyCloud or other services
  • Usage data — activity logs, preferences, and service interaction history
  • Communication records — support tickets and correspondence (unless required for legal purposes)

4. Data We May Retain

In certain circumstances, we may be required to retain some of your data even after a deletion request, including:

  • Transaction and billing records — retained for up to 10 years to comply with tax and accounting regulations under Romanian and EU law
  • Legal obligations — data required to comply with legal proceedings, court orders, or regulatory requirements
  • Fraud prevention — limited data necessary to prevent fraud or enforce our terms of service

Any retained data will be kept securely and used only for the specific purpose for which it is retained.

5. Processing Timeline

We will acknowledge your data deletion request within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days of receiving a verified request, in accordance with GDPR requirements. We may need to verify your identity before processing the request to protect your account from unauthorized deletion.

6. Third-Party Data

If you have used third-party integrations (such as logging in via Google, Facebook, or other social platforms), we will delete the data we received from those services. However, you may also need to revoke access or delete data directly from the third-party service. We are not responsible for data held by third parties.

7. Consequences of Data Deletion

Please note that once your data is deleted:

  • Your account will be permanently closed and cannot be recovered
  • All files and content stored in our services will be permanently removed
  • Any active subscriptions will be cancelled
  • You will no longer be able to access any of our services with the deleted account
